| Juanita Solis is the dead mother of Carlos. She came to visit her son and his wife, when Carlos thought Gabrielle was cheating on him. Juanita then followed gabrielle about and discovered she was sleeping with her gardener, John, and obtained a photo of their affair. Gabrielle chansed after Juanita when she took the photo, which led to Juanita being run over by a drunken Andrew Van De Kamp. Originally from El Paso, in Texas Lupe has been making her mark in the world of tv and movies since 1976, when she appeared as a Maid in the hit tv show, Charlies Angels. Since then she has appeared in Whos the boss?, Veronica's Closet, King of the Hill and Pasadena. But its not only in tv she has work in, her movie career is just as full, with her name appearing in, The Goonies, Selena and Real Woman Have Curves. She has also spent some time working as a social worker, in which she obtained a degree in from Texas Woman's University. She has played the roll of a Maid, in over 150 films and plays.
